Advertising agency KidGlov’s podcast celebrates its 100th episode

KidGlov, a full-service boutique, advertising, branding, and content marketing agency based in Lincoln and Omaha, Neb., recently celebrated the 100th episode of its podcast, Agency for Change. The 100th episode celebrated the podcast’s debut and looked to a future of continuing to share inspirational stories.

“As marketers, we have the ability to change the world by using our voice for good,” said Lyn Wineman, president and chief strategist of KidGlov and host of the Agency for Change podcast. “That’s what I love about the podcast. I love talking with people who are passionately doing something to make a difference. It shows the best in humanity.

The Agency for Change podcast started in August 2020 with the celebration of the tenth year of activity of the advertising agency KidGlov. His first guest was Jen Landis, founder of Pincurl Girls, an organization that encourages self-confidence in young girls. Since its inception, the podcast has had 100 guests from organizations large and small who are using their work to create positive change.

“Every episode is my next favorite,” said Kelley Peterson, vice president of KidGlov, nonprofit creative director and co-host of the podcast. “After every episode, I’m like, ‘That conversation changed my life.’ From performing arts to improving LGBTQ lives to achieving positive mental health and changing the conversation around disability, this podcast has been very powerful.

Since its launch, the Agency for Change podcast has gained a following. The episodes with Joel Makovicka, president of Makovicka Physical Therapy and former professional football player, and Ava Thomas, president of Lee Enterprises, each garnered over 100 downloads. KidGlov will honor its most downloaded shows with non-fungible tokens (NFTs) of their episode art, presented to guests.

The 100th celebratory episode of the Agency for Change podcast aired in May and was hosted by KidGlov editor Dan Downs. Downs leads the writing efforts for the show within a team of talented KidGlov professionals who plan, facilitate and promote the show. The Hundredth Episode shared some of the hosts’ most memorable moments and explored how the podcast became an inspiration to so many. Listen to the 100th episode on the KidGlov website or wherever podcasts are available.

“From inspirational conversations to motivational quotes from each of our guests, the Agency for Change podcast has been a lot of fun to be a part of,” Downs said. “We are thrilled to present this show where we can speak with those who inspire our work at KidGlov and hopefully pass that inspiration on to other changemakers who are listening.”

After recording 100 episodes of the Agency for Change podcast, the team at advertising and brand marketing agency KidGlov has no plans to slow down.

“The future of podcasting is really tied to what we do at KidGlov,” Wineman said. “For our next hundred guests, we’re looking for incredible stories of people making real change in the world.”
